String was responsible for research, content, curation and picture editing for the City of Cape Town’s new multimedia exhibition commemorating the life of former president Nelson Mandela and his relationship with Cape Town.

The exhibition is housed at the City Hall and will contribute to the rich tourist experience in Cape Town’s historic central city, the oldest urban area in southern Africa. The City Hall forms part of a walkable heritage precinct that houses a number of important destinations and is unmissable for any visitor who wants to truly engage with South Africa’s rich and complex history.
